Benitez: Youth key to Liverpool success

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez intends to continue to pursue the world's best young players, despite the promise of a massive transfer kitty from the club's new owners.
Benitez believes bringing in players like defensive duo Daniel Agger and Mark Gonzalez, both 22, remains crucial to the club's prospects.
"When we signed Agger we were looking for a young player with experience and quality who we knew would be good for the future," said Benitez.
"Both Agger and Mark Gonzalez are like this. Not only can they show their ability now, they are prospects.
"These are the types of player we are always looking for to improve the squad."
Agger, a £5.8million buy from Brondby was impressive in the victory against Fulham last weekend and Benitez added in the Liverpool Echo: "We knew he was strong in defence.
"But he can pass the ball well and move it around the pitch at a high tempo.
"You saw he did this very well against Fulham."
